Komatsu Periodic Maintenance, On Schedule and Thorough

We plan maintenance around your machine's operating hours and the manufacturer's maintenance manual, stopping faults before they grow. We service machines at our main workshop in Ankara or on your job site, and every service comes with a checklist-based report.

Komatsu Periodic Maintenance, On Schedule and Thorough
Why it matters

Why periodic maintenance shouldn't be postponed

With heavy equipment, the most expensive item is often not a part but a day the machine sits idle. Unplanned downtime means stalled work on site, operators standing around and slipping deadlines. Periodic maintenance moves that downtime to a time you choose.

When oil and filters aren't changed on time, wear accelerates in the engine, transmission and hydraulic system. Contaminated hydraulic oil can damage the pump and valves, and a neglected air filter can shorten engine life. A small maintenance cost heads off a much larger overhaul bill.

Regular maintenance matters for safety too. A machine whose brakes, hydraulic hoses and fasteners have been checked is safer for both the operator and the crew on site. A documented maintenance history also reassures buyers when you sell or trade in your machine, and helps protect its resale value.

What our periodic maintenance covers

Delta İş Makinaları was founded in 2001 by three partners who had worked on Komatsu machines. Today, as an authorized Komatsu service provider, we maintain the full Komatsu range, including excavators, wheel loaders, dozers and dump trucks, as well as Bomag road rollers, compactors and pavers.

  • Engine oil and oil filter change
  • Fuel, air and hydraulic filter replacement
  • Checking and changing transmission, final drive and swing machinery oil
  • Cooling system, radiator core and belt inspection
  • Greasing of lube points and checking pin and bushing play
  • Inspection of hydraulic hoses, fittings and seals
  • Inspection of undercarriage and wear parts
  • Fault code reading and a checklist-based maintenance report
Maintenance intervals

Maintenance intervals: what gets done at each hour mark

01

Every shift: Operator checks such as engine oil, coolant and hydraulic oil levels, leaks and greasing. These daily checks are the foundation of any maintenance plan.

02

250 hours: The first regular inspection interval in the manufacturer's maintenance manual. The battery, belt tension, greasing and fluid levels are checked, and on some models the engine oil and filter are changed at this interval.

03

500 hours: On many Komatsu models, this service covers the engine oil and oil filter change, the fuel pre-filter and cleaning of the radiator cores.

04

1,000 hours: The main fuel filter, hydraulic oil filter and swing machinery oil are usually changed at this interval.

05

2,000 hours: Key items include the final drive oil change, cleaning the hydraulic tank strainer and checking components such as the turbocharger, alternator and starter motor. The exact list varies by model and is set out in the manufacturer's maintenance manual.

06

Severe conditions: Dusty quarries, high temperatures and heavy shift schedules may call for shorter intervals than the manual specifies.

FAQ

Common questions

How do you set the maintenance intervals?

Mainly by your machine's operating hours and the manufacturer's maintenance manual. Working conditions such as dust, heat and shift intensity are also factored into the plan.

Do I need to bring the machine to the workshop for maintenance?

No. We can carry out periodic maintenance on your job site with our mobile service vans, or at our workshop in İvedik OSB, Ankara, if you prefer.

Do you service machines other than Komatsu?

In addition to being an authorized Komatsu service provider, we also service Bomag road rollers, compactors and pavers.

What do I receive after the service?

We provide a checklist-based maintenance report. It lists the work done, the parts replaced and the points we recommend keeping an eye on.
