When the loader stops, loading stops
In quarries, sand and gravel plants and on job sites, a wheel loader spends all day loading, turning and traveling. That pace is hardest on the transmission, axles, brakes and bucket linkage. A small shift delay or weakening brakes, if neglected, can turn into an expensive component failure.
On Komatsu loaders, the powertrain, hydraulics and electronic controls work together. We confirm the fault with error codes, pressure and temperature readings, and we don't replace parts until we've found the real source.
Transmissions and hydraulic components that need an overhaul are rebuilt at our Ankara workshop and delivered under warranty.
What we do on wheel loaders
Everything your loader needs, from periodic maintenance to transmission overhauls:
- Periodic maintenance based on operating hours, oil and filter changes
- Transmission and torque converter fault diagnosis and overhaul
- Axle and differential repair
- Service brake and parking brake repair
- Lift and bucket cylinder, work hydraulics pump and valve repair
- Steering system fault diagnosis and repair
- Pin and bushing replacement on the bucket linkage
- Engine and cooling system maintenance, engine overhaul
Common wheel loader faults we see
Delayed gear shifts
Low transmission pressure, worn clutch discs or a faulty solenoid valve make gear shifts harsh or delayed.
Power loss under load
A torque converter problem, transmission slippage or a loss of engine performance makes the machine struggle as it pushes into the pile.
Weakening brakes
Wear on the wet brake discs or leaks in the brake hydraulics lengthen stopping distance and create a safety risk.
Axle noise and oil leaks
Wear in the differential and planetary gears shows up as noise when turning and oil leaking from the axle seals.
Bucket lifting slowly
Wear in the work hydraulics pump or internal cylinder leakage makes a loaded bucket rise slowly and drift down under load.
Engine and transmission overheating
Radiators and oil coolers clogged in dusty conditions are the most common cause of engine and transmission overheating.

Common questions
Do you overhaul transmissions?
Yes. We strip down and measure the transmission and torque converter, and replace worn gears, bearings and clutch packs. Transmissions we overhaul are delivered under warranty.
Do I need to bring my wheel loader to the workshop?
Usually not. We carry out most maintenance, fault diagnosis and repairs on site with our service vans. Work that requires the workshop, such as a transmission or axle overhaul, is planned together with you.
Does a loader working in a quarry need more frequent maintenance?
In quarries, mines and other dusty environments, filter and oil changes may need to be done more often. We set the maintenance plan with you based on your machine's operating conditions.
Do you also service older loader series?
Yes. We service all Komatsu WA series loaders, old and new generation.
