Hydraulic System Repair and Pump Overhaul

We handle the entire hydraulic system, from the pump to the valve block and from the cylinders to the hoses. Every repair is verified with pressure tests, and pump and valve overhauls are delivered under warranty.

Hydraulic System Repair and Pump Overhaul
Why it matters

Why hydraulic faults shouldn't be put off

On excavators, wheel loaders and dozers, most of the digging, lifting and steering power comes from the hydraulic system. When the hydraulics weaken, the machine may seem to be working, but its output drops while fuel consumption rises.

A small leak or contaminated oil gradually damages expensive components such as the pump and valve block. Metal particles shed by a failing component can be carried through the entire circuit with the oil. Early intervention keeps a single-part repair from turning into a system-wide expense.

Hydraulic faults also pose safety risks. Pressurized oil from a burst hose can cause injuries, and a boom or bucket that drifts down on its own creates a hazard on site. Oil spilled on the ground is a separate environmental and workplace safety issue.

What we do on hydraulic systems

With a hydraulic fault, we first use measurements to pinpoint whether the problem lies in the pump, a valve, a cylinder or elsewhere in the circuit. Then we work only on the component that needs it.

  • Hydraulic pump overhaul and testing
  • Hydraulic control valve and valve block overhaul
  • Seal renewal on hydraulic cylinders
  • Hydraulic hose and fitting renewal
  • System pressure measurements and adjustments
  • Hydraulic oil and filter changes, plus system flushing where needed
  • Inspection of swing and travel motors
When you need it

Signs of a hydraulic fault

01

Noticeably slower boom, arm or bucket movements

02

Loss of force under load or reduced lifting power

03

Boom or bucket drifting down on its own

04

Whistling, humming or whining from the pump

05

Hydraulic oil overheating or foaming

06

Oil leaks from cylinders, hoses or fittings

How we work

Our hydraulic repair process

  1. MeasurementWe measure system pressures and cycle times to identify which component is at fault.
  2. Diagnosis and quoteWe share the required repair, overhaul and parts with you and get your approval.
  3. Repair or overhaulHose and seal work can be done on site, while pump and valve overhauls are carried out at our main workshop in Ankara.
  4. Pressure testingAfter the repair, we verify the system with pressure tests and hand the machine back in working order.
FAQ

Common questions

Pump overhaul or a new pump?

If the pump housing and main parts are serviceable, an overhaul is usually a good option. The decision is made after disassembly and measurement, once we've explained the pump's condition to you clearly.

Does the oil need changing after a pump repair?

A pump failure may have left metal particles in the system. In that case, changing the oil and filters, and flushing the system if needed, is important to protect the pump.

Are hydraulic overhauls covered by warranty?

Yes. We deliver hydraulic pump and hydraulic control valve overhauls under warranty.

Do you repair hydraulics on Bomag machines?

Yes. Besides Komatsu machines, we also service the hydraulic systems of Bomag road rollers, compactors and pavers.
