Two machines in one, so maintenance matters twice as much
A backhoe loader works as a loader at the front and a digger at the back. From utility work to municipal services, from small job sites to agriculture, it fills every hour of the day. That versatility means heavy wear on the hydraulic system, the transmission and the pin and bushing joints.
A little play in the backhoe arm or a slowing hydraulic function directly cuts the pace of work. Regular maintenance and small repairs done on time keep the machine from being stopped by an expensive component failure.
We carry out maintenance and most repairs wherever your machine is, and our Ankara workshop is ready for work that requires an overhaul.
What we do on backhoe loaders
Everything your backhoe loader needs, from periodic maintenance to hydraulic overhauls:
- Periodic maintenance based on operating hours, oil and filter changes
- Loader and backhoe hydraulics: pump, valve and cylinder repair
- Pin and bushing replacement on the backhoe arm, bucket and stabilizers
- Transmission and forward/reverse shuttle repair
- Front and rear axle, differential and brake repair
- Seal replacement on stabilizer and boom swing cylinders
- Engine fault diagnosis and engine overhaul
- Electrical and electronic fault diagnosis
Common backhoe loader faults we see
Play in the backhoe arm
Worn pins and bushings make the backhoe arm loose and precise digging harder, and over time wear the bores oval.
Slow hydraulics
Pump wear, valve leakage or a clogged filter make the loader bucket and backhoe arm slow and weak.
Jolting on forward/reverse shifts
Low transmission pressure or worn clutches cause jolting and delay when changing direction.
Stabilizers drifting up
Internal leakage past the cylinder seals or a lock valve problem lets the stabilizers retract while digging and the machine lose its stability.
Axle noise and leaks
Wear in the differential and planetary gears, along with seal damage, shows up as noise and oil leaks at the axles.
Weakening brakes
Brake disc wear and poor adjustment create a safety risk, especially when traveling loaded and on sloped ground.

Common questions
Do I need to bring my backhoe loader to the workshop?
Usually not. We carry out most maintenance, fault diagnosis and repairs wherever your machine is, using our service vans. Overhauls that require the workshop are planned together with you.
When do pins and bushings need replacing?
If you feel noticeable play in the backhoe arm and bucket, or hear noise from the joints despite regular greasing, the pins and bushings should be checked. Replacing them on time prevents damage to the bores.
Which maintenance tasks can I do myself?
Daily greasing, checking oil and coolant levels, and checking the air filter are jobs the operator can handle. Oil and filter changes and system checks are done by us during periodic maintenance.
Do you also service older backhoe loader series?
Yes. We service all Komatsu backhoe loaders, old and new generation.
